DC-9 Overdrive is a meticulously crafted overdrive plug-in designed to replicate the renowned Ibanez® TS9 Tube Screamer pedal. Utilizing advanced DSP algorithms, DC-9 accurately emulates the entire schematic of the original circuit through cutting-edge modeling techniques, resulting in an authentic analog sound that faithfully captures the essence of the physical counterpart.

Functioning as an Audio Unit Extension (AUv3), DC-9 seamlessly integrates with host applications on iOS devices. Simply incorporate it as an effect within your preferred Audio Units-compatible host app to experience its distinct analog warmth and overdrive crunch. Supported platforms include GarageBand, Cubasis, Auria, BeatMaker, AudioBus, AUM, Modstep, and more.

The "DC" in DC-9 references the Diode Clipper circuit employed for producing its signature distortion effect. Through precise modeling of this clipper via circuit simulation, DC-9 elevates itself above conventional distortion plugins by delivering unparalleled authenticity. Rigorously fine-tuned through A/B testing against the original stomp box, this plugin benefits from Blamsoft's expertise in developing high-quality desktop plugins now brought to the iOS platform. The identical algorithm powers the popular Rack Extension for Propellerhead Reason, offering desktop-grade performance at an affordable iOS-friendly price point.
